Day 1 : Elephant Orphanage & Golden Rock Temple

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and met by "Dream Travels" Representatives and transfer to Hotel at Malsiripura. En-route take a short break and visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.

Elephant Orphanage, a institution that has Been looking after orphaned or injured elephants that would otherwise have surely died. Then you can watch the elephant's bath in the river after the youngest babies are milk fed.

Day 3 : Sigiriya & Kaudulla National Park

After breakfast leave for Sigiriya , visit Sigiriya rock fortress.

One of Sri Lanka's most fascinating UNESCO world heritage sites. No matter how often you climb to the summit of this one-time hilltop fortress of the maverick Sinhalese king, Kassapa, the pleasure barely diminishes because of the abandon spectacular views at the summit.

An evening you will travel to visit a forest Buddhist monastery. And Take a jeep safari through the Kaudulla National Park, looking for elephants, deer, peacocks, boars, and many kinds of birds.

Day 4 : Polonnaruwa

After breakfast leave for Polonnaruwa and visit Polonnaruwa Cultural sites.

Polonnaruwa was the capital of Sri Lanka from the 11th to the 13th century AD. This ancient city is today one of the most beautiful centers of this island's cultural heritage. In its prime, the city, inside it's 3½ miles strong encircling walls, housed hundreds of thousands of people.

Day 5 : Temple of the Tooth & Gem mine

After breakfast leave for Weligama via Kandy and Rathnapura. En-route visit the Golden Rock Temple in Dambulla.

Visit The Golden Rock is a cave temple which dates back to the 1st Century .BC. Its rock ceiling is one large sweep of colorful frescoes which depict Buddhist mythology and the tales of the Buddha's previous births. The caves house the largest collection of Buddha statues in one place

From Dambulla drive to Matale to visit a spice garden. And travel to Kandy visit the Temple of the Tooth . and drive to Weligama En route visit the gem mine.

Sri Lanka has been known as the land of gems. You will visit a Gem Mine and a Gemological Museum. The gem pits or mines are excavated in the middle of paddy fields and other lands just off the road. Miners may be approached without hesitation to watch them work.

Day 6 : Galle Dutch Fortress & Beach Holiday

Next day you will travel to visit the Galle Dutch Fortress.

Gall Dutch Fortress

An ancient city which is now a modern and buzzing town today. It was the most important sea port way back in history, where the sea faring merchants arrived to trade and barter. This is also where the Portuguese first set foot in the year 1505 and built a fortress, which was later captured and fortified by the Dutch. The fortress is one of the best preserved in the island. A visit to the fortress and to watch the sunset from the rampart is an experience unforgettable.

The oldest Protestant church in the country called the 'Groote Kirk' built by the Dutch is located inside the Fort. It is situated close to New Oriental Hotel also built by them as the Governor's Residence in 1684.

Day 7 : Transfer to the airport on time for the flight.

After breakfast you will travel to Colombo , En-route Visit the Turtle Hatchery and Colombo City.

Projects have been launched to conserve the population of turtles that are reaching extinction and such projects are found along the southern coast of Sri Lanka where turtles come as hop to lay their eggs. The turtle digs a hole on the Beach, Lays hers eggs and covers it with sand where it is suppose, incubate by the heat of the sun.

What often happens is the eggs are dug out by fisherman and sold to people who consume them. But now the eggs are bought up by the conservation projects and hatched the Natural way in enclosed areas and the Birds don't have a chance of picking them up. This offers them a better chance of survival.

Then travel to airport , En-route you will have a city tour in Colombo.

Colombo- the capital of Sri Lanka-is the largest city and main port of Sri Lanka. It is also the commercial and financial center of Sri Lanka. A bustling metropolis, the city is an attractive blend of old and new. It has the lazy charm of the bygone era combined with the verve and vivaciousness of a modern city.
