Day 01 : Airport - Ayurveda center - Maho

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and met by "Sri Lanka for Holidays" Representatives and transfer to Ayurveda Resort Yapahuwa - Maho. At leisure in Ayurveda resort. Dinner and overnight stay in Ayurveda Resort Yapahuwa.

Day 02 : Yapahuwa

Enjoy a free Ayurveda wellness treatment package free of charge.

Day 03 : Yapahuwa

Travel to visit Reswehera (Sesseruwa) temple and see the famous ancient Buddha statue. And in afternoon, climb the Yapahuwa rock fortress.

This rock fortress rising 100m from a plain is similar concept to Sigiriya. Also known as "fire rock", was built in the early 13th century as a fortress against the Indian armies.

Day 04 : Polonnaruwa - Pinnawala

After an early breakfast travel to Sri Lanka's cultural triangle via Elephant Orphanage, a institution that has been looking after orphaned or injured elephants that would otherwise have surely died. If you leave the hotel early then you can watch the elephants bath in the river after the youngest babies are milk fed. After lunch you will leave for Polonnaruwa. Dinner and overnight stay in Polonnaruwa.


The foster - home of elephants of different age and size feed, bathe, play together and even mate. These great animals have been found injured or left abandoned in the wilderness. Now they even breed in captivity.

Day 05 : Polonnaruwa / Minneriya National Park

Breakfast at Hotel. Then travel to Polonnaruwa & visit wood carving people. Visit Polonnaruwa city.


2nd Capital of Sri Lanka, City Tour including visits to the Gal Vihara with its majestic rock statues of the Buddha in standing, reclining and seated forms, the Thuparamaya, the princes’ pond, Lankathilaka Viharaya and the relic houses of Watadageya, Hatadageya and the Atadageya.

Travel to Minneriya & have a jeep safari at Minneriya national wildlife park.


Located 182 kilometers from the Sri Lankan capital, Colombo, Minneriya National Park is an ideal eco tourism spot in the country. Spread over 8890 hectares, it was designated a biosphere reserve in the late 1970’s. The wetland habitat of Minneriya National Park in Sri Lanka is inhabited by a large number of mammals such as elephants and sambars, leopards, sloth bears and the purple faced leaf monkey. In addition to the various species of mammals, the Minneriya National Park is also home to rare aquatic bird species such as the little cormorant. In addition to them, the painted strokes, Great white pelicans, Ruddy turnstones and Grey herons can also been spotted at the reserve. Early morning and late evening are perfect timings to spot these migratory birds.
Beside the flora and the fauna, one of the main features of the park is the ancient Minneriya Tank. Built in 3rd century AD by King Mahasena, the tank helps in the irrigation of over 8500 hectares of paddy lands.

Day 06 : Sigiriya / Dambulla / Kandy

Breakfast at Hotel.

Climb the Sigiriya rock fortress. Then travel to Kandy via Dambulla. Visit Dambulla cave temple and a cultural dancing show in Kandy. En route visit Dambulla Cave Temple & a spice garden.


Sigiriya the rock fortress of an v centaury A.D. is fortress pronounced the Eight wonder of the world. This citadel in the sky is a world heritage site, a great attraction. It’s gardens and terraces laid with water gardens fountains, Boulder Gardens cave Dwellings, Magnificent fresco paintings of the world famous Ladies of Sigiriya, The Mirror wall, The “Gigantic Lions” paws, The ruins of the palace and royal bath certainly tell us of the aesthetic sense of the king who exploited the skills of his peoples' and labor to achieve his Dream.


Which contains more than 150 Statues of the Buddha. This was where a king of the 1st Century B.C. took refuge and latter converted them into a monastery


Visit a spice garden at matale which grows spices and herbs used for Sri Lankan cuisine and medication. Spices of Sri Lanka attracted the early sea faring merchants who made the long voyages to purchase this precious merchandise.

Day 07 : Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

Breakfast at Hotel.

Visit Gem Bureau where you will be shown a documentary film on how Sri Lankan Gem mining is traditionally done
Then visit temple of tooth relic.


Visit the Temple of the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha. This temple, the most important one for The Sri Lankan Buddhists was built in the 16th Century A.D. solely for the purpose of housing the tooth relic. Observe the magnificent Architecture of that period and experience the tranquility of the atmosphere.

After lunch visit peradeniya botanical garden.


En-route visit the Botanical Garden Peradeniya, which was a pleasure garden of a Kandyan King of the 16th Century and later made in to a Botanical Garden during the British regime. This garden, one of the best in Asia is a place of beauty and site for bird watchers.

Then leave for nuwaraeliya. Nuwara Eliya, the misty city is located over 6000 feet above sea level. On the way visit Tea plantations & Tea factories. Also you will see a beautiful “Ramboda” waterfall.


Visit a Tea Plantation and a Tea Factory. Sri Lanka being famous for its “Ceylon Tea” has added cheer to many the world over for more than a century.

Arrive in Nuwara Eliya to be greeted by the fresh wintry atmosphere, the cottage type bungalows and the colonial air. ( Nuwara Eliya is also known as “Little England”)

Day 08 : Nuwara Eliya - Beach

Breakfast at Hotel.

Visit Nuwaraeliya city and travel to Negambo for your beach stay.


Drive through the little town of Nuwara Eliya observing the well-maintained buildings of colonial Architecture. Visit the busy market where the tea plantation workers rush in and out with their days provisions. Visit the lake Gregory built for generating power during the British Colonial age but now a feature that adds beauty to the city.

Day 09 : Beach


Beach Stay with many choices of spending your time. Leisurely strolling on the Golden Beaches enthralled in the magical atmosphere. Lazing on a Sun deck reading a book of you choice, and sipping a cool fresh tropical fruit drink of pine apple, Mango, Banana.

Afternoon travel to visit a bird sanctuary called "Anawilundawa".

Day 10 : Beach / Air Port

Breakfast at Hotel. Leave Air port for Departure.
