Day 01 : Airport - Ayurveda center - Maho

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and met by "Sri Lanka for Holidays" Representatives and transfer to Ayurveda Resort Yapahuwa - Maho. At leisure in Ayurveda resort. Dinner and overnight stay in Ayurveda Resort Yapahuwa.

Day 02 : Ayurveda center - Maho

Day 03 : Pinnawela - Polonnaruwa

After an early breakfast travel to Sri Lanka's cultural triangle via Elephant Orphanage, a institution that has been looking after orphaned or injured elephants that would otherwise have surely died. If you leave the hotel early then you can watch the elephants bath in the river after the youngest babies are milk fed. After lunch you will leave for Polonnaruwa. Dinner and overnight stay in Polonnaruwa.


The foster - home of elephants of different age and size feed, bathe, play together and even mate. These great animals have been found injured or left abandoned in the wilderness. Now they even breed in captivity.

Day 04 : Polonnaruwa - Minneriya

The next day explore the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, once the capital of an advanced and prosperous medieval kingdom. Visit a wood carving factory. After lunch safari at Minneriya national park, an important wetland park supporting many aquatic birds and about 300 wild elephants.

Dinner and overnight stay in Sigiriya.

Located 182 kilometers from the Sri Lankan capital, Colombo, Minneriya National Park is an ideal eco tourism spot in the country. Spread over 8890 hectares, it was designated a biosphere reserve in the late 1970's. The wetland habitat of Minneriya National Park in Sri Lanka is inhabited by a large number of mammals such as elephants and sambars, leopards, sloth bears and the purple faced leaf monkey. In addition to the various species of mammals, the Minneriya National Park is also home to rare aquatic bird species such as the little cormorant. In addition to them, the painted strokes, Great white pelicans, Ruddy turnstones and Grey herons can also been spotted at the reserve. Early morning and late evening are perfect timings to spot these migratory birds. Beside the flora and the fauna, one of the main features of the park is the ancient Minneriya Tank. Built in 3rd century AD by King Mahasena, the tank helps in the irrigation of over 8500 hectares of paddy lands.

Day 05 : Sigiriya - Kandy

After breakfast checkout from the hotel and leave to visit Sigiriya rock fortress, one of Sri Lanka's most fascinating UNESCO world heritage sites. No matter how often you climb to the summit of this one-time hilltop fortress of the maverick Sinhalese king, Kassapa, the pleasure barely diminishes because of the abandon spectacular views at the summit. Afterwards travel to Kandy another fascinating city of Sri Lanka. En route visit a spice garden in Matale. In Kandy visit temple of tooth and a spectacular Sri Lankan cultural show. Dinner and overnight stay in Kandy.


Sigiriya the rock fortress of an v centaury A.D. is fortress pronounced the Eight wonder of the world. This citadel in the sky is a world heritage site, a great attraction. It's gardens and terraces laid with water gardens fountains, Boulder Gardens cave Dwellings, Magnificent fresco paintings of the world famous Ladies of Sigiriya, The Mirror wall, The "Gigantic Lions" paws, The ruins of the palace and royal bath certainly tell us of the aesthetic sense of the king who exploited the skills of his peoples' and labor to achieve his Dream.


Visit the Temple of the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha. This temple, the most important one for The Sri Lankan Buddhists was built in the 16th Century A.D. solely for the purpose of housing the tooth relic. Observe the magnificent Architecture of that period and experience the tranquility of the atmosphere.

Day 06 : Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast you will travel deeper into the tea-growing hills and have the option to wind through the mountains with magnificent views. En-route to Nuwara Eliya you will visit a waterfall and a factory of the popular Sri Lankan Tea.

Have a city tour in Nuwaraeliya and visit colonial English buildings. Dinner and overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.


Visit a Tea Plantation and a Tea Factory. Sri Lanka being famous for its "Ceylon Tea" has added cheer to many the world over for more than a century.

Arrive in Nuwara Eliya to be greeted by the fresh wintry atmosphere, the cottage type bungalows and the colonial air. ( Nuwara Eliya is also known as "Little England")


Drive through the little town of Nuwara Eliya observing the well-maintained buildings of colonial Architecture. Visit the busy market where the tea plantation workers rush in and out with their days provisions. Visit the lake Gregory built for generating power during the British Colonial age but now a feature that adds beauty to the city.

Day 07 : Nuwara Eliya - Beach.

The next day after breakfast you will visit Haggala botanical garden. Afternoon travel to Waskaduwa beach area. Dinner and overnight stay in Waskaduwa beach.

Day 08 : Beach - Airport

Depart in good time for your flight home.
